Do you know what is odd? When on certain days you wake up in the morning and think to yourself that I want to wear something that I haven’t worn in a long time, or “gee, I really like this color and I bet no one else will be wearing it today.” With dress clothes right now, especially nice dress shirts/blouses there are only a few colors that are really in fashion. Well, to make a long story short, I thought I would wear a nice black dress shirt and some tan slacks; well everyone today is wearing black. It is just… odd that so many people got up this morning and decided to wear black especially when the majority of the people wearing it, don’t usually wear it-that includes me.
I think a study should be done on what color of clothes is the best to wear at say a meeting, or on a Monday… It would be interesting to see if there actually is some sort of pattern.
The weekend went ok, could have been a lot better. I went home to Yakima, and when I got there I learned that a lot of my family was going to be there as well (basically all of my family from Spokane). Everything worked out fine, I just wish I would have known there were going to be there. If I had, I would have drove over Friday night to help my mom with whatever she needed to do for preparations.
I spent a lot of time with my horse and finally got some pictures of her. She is trying to play “Who is the boss game” with me. She will lose; she just doesn’t know it yet.
I was able to pick up everything that I needed for camping last night at Costco. Now it is a matter of getting everything else done before I leave. Hopefully tonight or Wednesday night I can get the recall on my car taken care of, Tuesday night is soccer, and Thursday night I will most likely be packing and loading up my car to leave Friday morning.
And that is about it… Last night I sat on my deck watching it rain…it was literally pouring, but somehow, very relaxing.
