I'm not really clever enough to talk eloquently about my contempt for capitalism, but this article gets to the heart of why I detest it so. It basically lists off everything that's wrong with my world.
It reminds me, I have this rant, which I'll get around to one day, about our media here, and its practice of characterizing "Aussie battlers" as heroes, as though working hard for not enough to live on is a noble cause, rather than a the life of oppression! That's what makes me want to vomit every time I am subjected to Today Tonight or A Current Affair on telly.
