adventures in an equine uterus, an incompetent pig podiatrist, and a wild fish chase
today i had another work dream. the interns and one of the senior doctors and i were doing a reproductive ultrasound on one of the patients who has been in the hospital for several weeks. she was being uncharacteristically uncooperative. then one of the receptionists came in and said that there was a vet tech from another practice in the lobby complaining about the job that someone had done trimming her pig's hooves. and then there was a lady in the wash stall who was standing at a table with all my fish (in their bowls) on it. she told me to choose one to carry with me for luck, and so i did (thom, i think). but then he jumped out of the bowl and slithered all over the building on the floor. i had a very hard time catching him, and when i finally did, i accidentally pulled off part of his tail. but then when i lifted him up to look at the damage, his tail was whole.
