Survival is a good thing.
Well, it's over. Four weeks of band camp is over!!! We have all the music to the first movement too! It's awesome sounding.
Friday was fun. It was the premier performance, which went pretty well. Then we had a section leader hang out thing, which evidently turned into just a big band kid party at Shari's! Don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining about it one bit. I mean 20 kids raiding a Shari's? That's just fun! We had to have two booths and the BIG booth in the back with a table attached to fit everyone! People still had to share chairs then. lol. It was fun! Great way to end the camp.
Friday morning, I woke up at like 8 and started getting ready like usual. The phone rang at about 8:40ish....and it was KEVIN!! It made me really happy!! I only got to talk to him for like 5-10 minutes because I had to be at McKenzie at 9, but it's the thought that counts. He's coming back on Tuesday, so he might come to pick up Brain after practice...maybe. I don't know. Eh, if I don't see him then, possibly Friday while I wait for Vickie to get home from V-ball. I don't know.
That's right! I get to spend next weekend with Vickie and family. Should be fun!! lol...gosh when I'm over there, we eat like MOUNDS of junk food! It's like three or four days of party food. lol. I don't know what she has planned though. W/e...I'll find out sooner or later.
