Celebrity sighting...
So I was at work yesterday all day. With my jaw sore from my teeth still, and feeling the winter "sick" bug creeping in, I really didn't want to spend the entire day at work. But, alas, that's exactly what I did. And it proved to be a less than profitable day. The lone bright spot was a celebrity sighting at Maggiano's yet again. It never ceases to amaze me that we get movie/sports stars that come in on a somewhat frequent basis. Sightings like this would never happen at Uno's when I worked there in VA. Maybe because it was in VA, and it was Uno's, but it never would happen.
So who was the star you might be wondering? Dennis Farina, star of TV's "Law and Order" as well as many movies including "Saving Private Ryan" and "Get Shorty." I didn't get to wait on him, but he seemed like a nice guy (I've been told that in the past) and he left a big tip (again, unfortunetly not to me). So, there you have it. More fun at the Magg... but not had by me. Par for the course.
