Grandpa
Grandpa died this morning (AZ time, afternoon Eastern time). My mom said it was very peaceful, that he ate some lunch, then went to sleep and died. I wish I could have seen him once more, but at least I got to talk to him, if only for a few seconds, and even if he didn't hear me all that well, I told him I loved him. I'll always have that.
So I guess this means that I'm flying out to New Jersey sometime in the next few days, probably friday my folks say, with the services on monday. Thank you to everybody who prayed for grandpa, and gave him the extra time that he had at the very end. I know he's up in heaven now, with God welcoming his servant home.
