the beat goes on

 i just found out that i got selected for jury duty.  i have never been before, ever.  not sure exactly what i should expect.  i'm figuring that it'll be something lame like i will just go in and they will tell me that the guy accepted a plea or something and i'll get to come home.  but maybe not, it could turn into something more interesting.  not that i am one of those people who are facinated by crime stories, quite the contrary.  but i am one of those guys that doesn't like to go to work and listening to lawyers argue is 100% better than going to the office tomorrow.

had a fairly insane birthday weekend.  pretty much a 4 day non stop party.  complete with german chocolate cake, fireworks, board games, and crepes....lots of nutella crepes. yum.
