Topher watches Victor's vitals on his monitor as Victor takes on the weirdest. Engagement. Ever. Then the vitals disappear.
Victor finds himself on a space ship. A girl with messy black hair watches him timidly from behind some crates.
"Who are you?" he asks her, adding, "I'm Charles."
"Sorry. Your frame of reference is wrong. You have the answer but it's not your answer."
She talks like she's concussed, he thinks. "What happened to your head?"
She smiles like a sad person laughing. "You first."
Back in the Dollhouse, Boyd's first question for Topher is, "could this happen to Echo?"
