Victorian medical information

I'm looking for someone at whom I can fire questions about Victorian medical psychological stuff. More precisely, the topic of melancholia (which I think was their term for depression).
Diagnosis, classification of different types of it, proposed treatments, that sort of thing.
It's true that there's a lot of literature out there on the Internet, but I'm afraid I don't really have time to wade through it all. Someone that I could ask my questions to directly would be wonderful and hugely appreciated!
