It happens a second time. And now he can't pretend that it was Mokuba's fault or that he was momentarily insane or that it never really happened.
Forced to face it all (his mistakes and his failings and the terrible, terrible things he's done to his little brother) and he can't do it. Can't handle the knowledge.
Wants to retreat back to work because that's all he knows how to do at this point, so he pulls his spent cock out of Mokuba and pulls himself away from Mokuba and pulls his clothing back on over stained and sticky flesh and leaves the room with Mokuba's protests in his ears.
He makes it as far as the end of the hallway before he's stopped by a hand on his arm.
He turns, expecting his brother, and instead finds Yuugi standing there, small and angry and disgusted and betrayed.
"You haven't been staying overnight at the office." It's not a question. Yuugi releases his arm, fingers un-clasping and hands falling to his sides. "I heard you." (You monster. With your own little brother. Kaiba's mind fills in the blanks easily.)
There's nothing to say to that and Kaiba doesn't even try. Waits to be condemned.
It doesn't happen. Not with words, anyway.
Yuugi stares at him, eyes full of everything, and then turns. Silent. Turns and walks back into their room and shuts the door.
They're all three alone then.
Mokuba in his bed, curled under the covers and haunted by the look in his Nii-sama's eyes just before he stood up to leave.
Yuugi standing in the middle of their room looking down at the bed where the sheets and covers are all tangled up from (not fucking) his own restlessness. Trying to decide how he feels.
Kaiba in the hallway still, backed into the wall because he couldn't hold himself upright anymore. As unmoving and limp and unthinking as when Yuugi's Other took him apart.
Except this time, he's not sure he can put himself back together.
