Bert Hendover OT-6 1998-2275 Your thetan is clear to launch.

We are gathered here today to honor the valiant death of Captain Bert Hendover. Survived by his ship; the Amonite, it's shuttle squids and the urchin; and by 28,462 HEN-007 class mars clone/citizens. Bert Hendover was of a dead breed. Having spent more time in cold sleep than any other human, he was a relic of the pride and assurance humans once had before the overmind virus hit. His total confidence in himself and in the human race created a manifest destiny for mankind that has delivered us from the brink of extinction out to the stars. Strength and bravery where the traits he respected and we found no lack of inspiration in him. Snatched from the jaws of death countless times it seems Hendover's destiny could not be thwarted while the xenocidal machinations still ticked, unthwarted, in the cold, metallic hearts of the zone minds and sought to destroy worlds we might never even know. Captain Hendover, in defense of the diversity of life thought the universe, died in combat with the mortal enemy of every living creature in existence, and nothing less could have done it. I pray we'll see the likes of him again.
