Of Gerbils and Men...
*exhales* Whew... Those were some fireworks, huh? I, of course, mean that whole argument yesterday regarding what Leon had said to Amelda, and then Seto threatening to yank Kaiba Corp's contract with Zig's company if Leon didn't apologize. Leon didn't, but Seto, apparently, just wanted to see Zig regain his confidence and self-esteem. Granted, everyone wanted that! We've all been waiting for that to happen and worried in the meantime.
Sam and I think that Leon was using Amelda as a scapegoat. He picked on him when he barely knows the guy, never met him, and always ignored any comments he made! Why Amelda? Probably because he's an easy target (from Leon's point-of-view), and because he represents Leon's worst idea of a homosexual.

I followed an interesting conversation between Max and Amelda. (I am with Max, remember? I heard everything.) After Amelda called himself a gerbil, which Pegasus tried to make sense of (I sure as hell couldn't!), Amelda chose to speak intelligibly and said something I found to be very profound:
"I don't think we are on the same page... Pegasus, I meant that I'm just insignificant to society - a society to who tries to explain my love for another man by saying that it's a disease, genetic, or population control. Excuses, explanations, and all these empty words... I want my love to be acknowledged! Not some justification for why I love. Heterosexuals go through life without ever needing an explanation from society about why they love, or how they love. I just want to be me, and I don't need a fucking justification as if there is something wrong with me."

I am willing to rent out my house to you. It's in Paris, France, where I'm currently staying, but I'm not using it right now. I'm in Pegasus' house, which is a helluva lot nicer and bigger than mine. However, if you are interested in renting it, let me know. Okay?

I'll only start packing Miruko's things if you tell me you ARE coming. I know Amelda can be impulsive sometimes, so I need to know it's a decision both of you are making. It's too bad, Pegasus and I were having fun with him! ^_^ He's learnt the alphabet already, and he is working on small words and basic math. Sharp kid! I was going to help him post in his journal, but I guess I'll leave that to you!

Congrats on regaining your confidence! I really always thought you were most attractive when you were confident. Suave goes with mauve, right? *laughs* I'll be coming over as soon as the Kaibas pick up Miruko.
Oh, and Pegasus, when are we giving the little angel a bath?
