yayy happy birthday to me !!!
so yeah, its been like birthday weekend. ugh. exhausting.
friday i sleptover sarah's with bethany. that was fun. we got pizza (which was REALLY good) and watched varsity blues (which is now one of my favorite movies) and ... empire records?? i think thats what it's called. that was pretty good too. after watching some guard and volleyball we played scattergoires. i love that game. its my favorite. after that sarah and bethdany fell asleep and i watched maid in manhattan, legally blonde 2 and a christmas story. during legally blonde 2 i got really really chapped lips and went INSANE trying to find my chapstick. it was kinda hard considering it was dark and i didnt want to wake anyone up so i just sat back down and watched the rest of the movie. i ended up falling asleep in the middle of a christmas story. haha silly movie.
saturday when i got home we were gonna have my little birthday dinner that night cause i have practice tonight. so i had to go up to my room while my mom and brother went to get a cake and balloons and madea sign to decorate the kitchen. my mom made ribs and REALLY good twice baked potatoes. mmm. the ice cream log (haha silly silly) was SO good too. mmm. again. for my birthday ryan got me one those giant tootsie rolls, a toblerone (sp??) one of those make your own gummi pizza things and a little snow globe thing with doves from the dollar store. my parents got me an slr camera, partly cause i really wanted one and partly for photography next year. and a case for it and film. but thats a given. and i love it =D yay! then i watched the sweetest thing on comedy centran secret stash (aka its on early in the morning and its not edited...) while eating my toblerone. mmm.
sunday (well, yesterday...) we went to my aunts house for dinner partly for my birthday and partly cause my cousin joe and my aunt and uncle were visiting from florida. it was cute. at least i was amused cause joe was there. otherwise i would have been really bored. we ended up playing a lot of catch with the football and a lot of checkers. my aunt also actually made semi normal food for once. you see, shes very healthy and into trying new recipes and such and the last time we were there (for easter)she made lamb, this weird carrot soup and ... something else weird, i forget. this time she made chicken, carrots with rasins and greenbeans with shredded cheese. still a little weird, but at least most of us could deal with eating it. then after i took a bunch of pictures of her garden, and my little cousins and we had cake. omg it was so good. it was weird good though. it was like those double chocolate dunkin donuts (you know, the ones with the frosting...) in cake form. in the middle of all of us eating it she goes "theres a secret ingredient!! ill tell you all what it is when youre done" so im like "great. will this make me grow another limb or something?!" but it ended up being tomatoes. which is kinda strange cause its cake, but it made the cake rise. something about the acidity. whatever it was good at least. after cake and everything we played bocce and took rides in my uncles mustang that he brought home from work. that was fun too, and i dont suck at bocce as much anymore. afterthatttttttt they gave me presents =D yay presents. my grandparents gave me a green purse and matching cell phone thinger from that place next to mocha...tre re...g...zzz....a. idk. then my aunt/uncle/cousin/cousin (who werent there, but were on vacation) gave me a nexklace from the same store and then my weird food aunt made me a wind chime thingy from wire, glass beads, a from and glass bottles. its really pretty. and my little cousin evan (omg hes so cute. hes like, 3 and he just got glasses and they're too big for him and they keep sliding down his nose...) gave me an egg that he painted. after that was more bocceing and then sitting around and talking. thennn came the creepy ice cream truck. it played a very spooky version of "do your ears hand low *beep beep*" well, actually it was an ice cream van, owned by some isralei guy. it was creepy. cause its this big white van with pictures of ice cream on the side and some forien guy hanging out the window going 'you want triple fudge pop?' . but yeah. when the ice cream van came my dad screams "ICE CREAM" and all the kids and my dad go running to the front yard and he bought use ice cream . it was cute.
then we left and my grandparents and flordia aunt/uncle/cousin came to our house. (my weird food aunt/uncle/two cousins live too far away to come over...) we had normal food...chips....hamburgers...hot dogs...soda...yeah. joe and i played stratego and then watched law and order. that was a good episode. after they left i wanted to watch the new episodes of the surreal life/clelebrity fit club and hogan knows buest but i fell asleep. cause it goes the surreal life, hogan knows best and celeb. fit club 2 until 11, then those three all over again, but i caught the last few minutes celebrity fit club 2 and then passed out like 15 min into the surreal life. damnit.
this morning my family came into my room and started singing to me. it was like 6:45 (caus emy dad had to leave for work) and i was like "wtf, whose bday is it?!" and i got pissed off they they randomly come into my room and sing. then i realized it was my bday and i was like "oh thats cute, thanks" and went back to sleep. around 9 i woke up and went downstairs to see when we were leaving/what we were doing. my mom took the day off work so we could do stuff together. it was cute. we ended up going to the tj maxx near michaels and office max cause they have a lot better stuff. i got a buncha make up thats normally $30 each at sephora. niice. i got a set of 3 urban decay lip gloss thingites for $5.99, an urban decay eyeshadow for $2.99 and a sugar lip gloss set thing for $2.99. needless to say, i was happy lol. then we went to michaels and i bought three ribbon things from the $1 bin cause they had pretty colors. oh and i got a bop it pen cause i LOVEEE bop it and thank you cards with ducks on them. niice. after that we went to borders and i got a book called "We thought you would be prettier" by laurie notaro. i was looking for boy meets boy but they didnt have it. then i looked for the idiot girls action adventure club. i found it and it was by the same author as/ right next to we thought youd be prettier. theyre both humerous memiors so i just picked we thought youd be prettier cause i couldnt decide and i liked the cover better.
after shopping we went to bennigans for lunch. omg it was so good.i got a chicken wrap/potator soup combo thingy. i love that soup. its so good. after we went for ice cream at the creamery and i got peppermint ice cream. i love the creamery cause they're the only place i can find that had peppermint ice cream normally. mmm. i love peppermint ice cream.
so now im home. and im about to go take a much needed nap before practice. my moms making peanut butter cupcakes for me to bring cause she bought all the stuff to make them, but didnt have time before dinner on saturday or sunday, so she wanted to make them for guard. lol. fine by me. i <3 my mommy =D yayy.
then after practice im going to sarahs house with katie for my bday party shindig. exciiting!
