I have arrived here in this place called Avoria. I am currently unsure how this happened - I feel as if it took place while I was blinking. I do not believe that I am dead, and I've heard whisperings of people being able to leave, so I'm almost positive I have simply entered another dimension or world. I know that other worlds exist, this was clear when I encountered the Dragon Gate during my travels.
How this trans-dimensional travel happened, I need to find out. Lord Pent would be pleased if he knew how to do such a thing; boundless knowledge exists beyond the limits of my world, I'm sure.
However, in order to gain such knowledge, I have taken up studies at the local teaching institution - the Avoria Academy, it's apparently called. I will be placed into the twelfth grade (I do not know what this 'grade' system is, though I'm sure I'll quickly find out). I have also been given a place to live, apparently with other boys in my grade. I look forward to being able to find someone else to study with. Hopefully, whomever I will be living with will have as much or more knowledge of this place as I currently do.
Hopefully this tome that was given to me upon my arrival will come in handy. It looks similar to my own tomes (none of which I've tried using yet, I only brought three with me and I'd rather not waste their energy trying), except without writing. It's apparently used more as like a journal, to be kept in the city records.
I hope to learn more soon. Perhaps keeping a record here will be helpful in my studies.
