Why bother with Gunsmith Cats Omnibus?
I lurk on message boards to see what people think about the titles I work on (and hope nobody comments on the lettering--people are much more likely to complain than compliment).
A few Gunsmith Cats readers have said they aren't bothering with the Omnibuses because the stories have been printed in English before. I can't fault the logic in that.
But if you're a real fan and a total completist you DO want to pick up Omnibus #4.
In the back is this:
And some ten pages of "freetalk" (crammed onto 5 pages) about creating "Riding Bean" the anime and Sonoda's trip to LA. He even visits the Rose Bowl Flea Market. I found that part amusing because the last time I went, I saw a busload of Japanese tourists descend upon the antiques section. It was quite a sight.
Lettering this story was a little confusing because the story reads English style L-R. In the first chapter the word balloons even read horizontally rather than vertically.
Anyway, it comes out Nov 28. It has some T&A and guns and car chases and stuff.
