Why I <3 Portland
Tonight the Clackamas Community College is hosting its own 24 hour Comic Day with Scott McCloud giving a "keynote address" (?). It'll be 6pm tonight to 6pm tomorrow. It's like 15 minutes from my house, but it's $20.
Tomorrow is World Wide Sketchcrawl (go to the forum to see where your local sketchers will be meeting). The Portland group will meet in the St. Johns side of town in the morning.
I moved to Portland so I can do these types of things. I just can't do them this weekend because I have work to do. >_<
I'm also not real high on paying $20 to do 24HCD unless Scott McCloud is going to stay up with the comickers.
