New Debian Linux+VirtualBox

Right in the middle of installing the new stable release of Debian Linux on the machine I currently use for web site testing and using Lightwave 3D on. So far so good using the new graphical installer that Debian has kindly provided, see there is a use for eye candy hehe.

My friend Ghenna slept over last night, and he showed my a multi-os emulator called VirtualBox, very nice indeed, and with Wine not actually being able to run some windows stuff, namely .net based software, VirtualBox will eliminate this problem, even though it's not quite like Wine where software can run in native Linux, VirtualBox makes a large file to use a Hard Drive, and installs the chosen OS as if installing it alone on the machine.

This does mean however means being able to run software more reliably, and still being able to have the machine still be a Linux Boxen.

It also means, that if I want I can run Compiz Fusion on both machine, although I don't think I'll bother on the development boxen....
