The New York Times should know better than to say that Highlander: The Series was a knock-off of Hercules and Xena. But other than the customary ignorance of and condescension to genre television, their
article about the potential return of syndicated fantasy series is interesting and encouraging. Apparently, Terry Goodkind has sold the rights to his "Sword of Truth" books to Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert. The series is titled Legend of the Seeker, filmed in New Zealand, premiering November 1, give or take local schedules.
