Pre-order Second-season FK

Amazon is now accepting pre-orders for second-season Forever Knight on DVD (release date January 4, 2005; current cost $41.97).  While tv_elf kindly let me know about other sites offering pre-ordering a week ago, I'm a cautious Net user who mostly trusts Amazon, and not so many other on-line merchants, so I was pleased and relieved when they finally put it up.

For the record, Sony's own site still pictures the first-season box, and links to the first season on Amazon.  Trivia?  Second season is red instead of blue, and reputedly comes with "extras" (personally, I don't care anything for extras, but I care very much for canon, and hope nothing in the set seems to bend it).

Second season is not my favorite, but when you're tempted to dismiss it, think of "Stranger Than Fiction," "A More Permanent Hell," "Partners of the Month," "Baby, Baby," "Curiouser and Curiouser," "Near Death," the tag end of "A Fate Worse Than Death" . . . Even in the later seasons, when FK was good, it was the best.
