Soooo, now it is a new year and I need to actually work on some things. Not only class
but also this writing business. I may take advantage of son Daniel's extra laptop to start to
revise a mystery I thought I had finished 2 years ago. Has it really been that long? It is in the 20s so it feels like a fridge outside. The 30s are bad enough, but I really dislike it this cold, as the "high" for the day.
Saw a few episodes of "Chuck" on TV tonight. I bet they will post them to the NBC website soon, which is where I saw the show last semester. I really was a big fan (wrote NBC 6 letters to keep it going!). The nerdy guy trying to become a spy--- kind of like the post middleaged student trying to become a teacher/professional-moneymaking writer. What are the odds, right? Of course, I have dreamed of a real, full time career for a long time. I suppose working on writing projects before and during this semester I think may help give me the discipline to get this
writing/career established. Maybe I will follow my son's advice and do some web drawing too. The new semester has many possibilities!
