I just realised that my last LJ update was waaaaaaay too agro to accurately reflect my present state of being. I don't even work at that place anymore. I was transferred to a much larger 6 doctor veterinary practice a few cities over :) Changing and moving on is one of the most beautiful things in life. How most things are not as solid as our eyes or hearts will lead us to believe is a damn relief to my flitting Gemini mind in these months of thawing out and reaching for the sun. I got as close as I could (grounded Icarus) on the mountains in 'Ol Cackalacy (North Carolina for those not raised in the south or just not by rednecks) for 5 days of tenting and bulding fires. gettting as high (literally not really so much drug induced) as a person in this part of the world can on Grandfather Mtn. What a ravashing beauty our world is :) Nate and I are so happy in our little home. We have a grill and a garden now. Thew our first cook-out party for a fellow gemini's birthday. Someone threw up in the sink and the rest of us went to IHOP at 2am so I guess that can be counted as a true success. I will post a BAPP in the coming days of our trip. I'm just too in love with the sun and the warmth I cant settle enough to get them on my photobucket :) Vacation is over tomorrow and it's back to 45-50hr weeks doing a job I love. It's a fufillment I can't even begin to expres my gratitude for. I am just such a greatful person these days. Even after the passing of my aunt Patti who I love and who enfluenced me greatly I can't help but be thankful for so many things. I'm in love with life and I think it loves me back *squee*

now I am off to bail out my bathtub (its clogged something epic), chop and marinate meat and veg for grilling kabobs tonight, clean a bit, and change out laundry.

I may even find the time to read a bit. I am currently reading "So long and thanks for all the fishes" as I rather quickly am moving myself through all of the Hitchhikers Guide books.

In other Gemini news, today is my Dad's birthday!!! He is the awesomest man alive and I love him to the ends of the earth and back :) Today he is taking part in the Habitat for Humanity home buliding blitz. He is a consrtuction worker by trade and has been since he was 15. My dad grew up in a level of poverty I am greatful to him to have never known. There was nothing but pride beaming from him when I visited the site earlier today to give him the Eagles 2 disc set I got for his birthday. He is so proud to be able to do something to help people who are as needy as he once was.
