(no subject)
so the last couple of weeks have been pretty cool.
two weekends ago I did fuck all because I was still sort of getting over being sick and there wasn't a whole lot to do anyway. I saw Shadows Fall and As I Lay Dying though. that was really fucking cool. As I Lay Dying were so awesome. Shadows Fall were good too but played for too long in my opinion. Hung out with Cole for a bit after the show. that's about it.
the weekend just gone was my birthday. hit up the hawthorn friday night. thanks to everyone who came out (tanae, luke, amy, glenn, ali.b, laura, tom, alli.r, carla, jason, kirra and sam) I think that was about it from memory. went to the glenferrie after that. me and tanae then did a solo mission to mercury lounge. didn't stay there for too long. went to ged's and crashed there because we couldn't be fucked getting all the way home. had fuck all sleep, went home and got ready to do it all over again. me, bec and hel went to the arthouse and stayed for about half an hour then went to simon's place then went to the carlton club. so fucking hilarious. I can't even begin to start on everything that happened. it was just awesome and really funny in every way. then me and tanae went to spy lounge and pete was there and that was cool. got home around 5 or 6 or something I think. sunday was my actual birthday and I visited my nan in hospital. (for those who know she had bowel cancer and had to go back to have her bowel like re-directed or whatever they do so she doesn't have a bag anymore and she is out of hospital now and all good)
so anyway I had a great birthday and got awesome presents. massive props to mum and dad for my calvin klein watch. more props to narelle, hannah, brad, nan, marg and anyone else i've forgotten that got me presents. and thanks to everyone for the birthday calls and messages!
happy 29th birthday to narelle today. my god that is so old. we were discussing the idea of a joint 20th and 30th next year.
