Yes I know we live in Florida. Yes I know it is hot as fuck and humid, and the vest makes it even that much more uncomfortable. 2 Broward county deputies were shot the other day. 1 of them was shot 4 times. He was wearing a vest. He was injured but will recover. The other was shot 2 times. He wasn't wearing a vest. He was killed. His 4 year old and toddler twins will never again have a dad. Maybe the fact that he was killed has nothing to do with the vest, I really don't know the specifics... but that's not the point. Where the damn vest people. If not for yourself, atleast for your friends and family. No one that will read this is even in law enforcement... but still. Rant over.
