Uni?
Okay, that last job did not work out either. Now seriously looking into going to uni. Would have to do either A levels or access course before I could get on the degree course I want though by the looks of it. Not much to say at moment really, but I do have my own laptop now. Still working on game system. Looking at other games online now, to see if there are any other systems I am unaware of. I may have the combat system, now need class progression. Gary Gygax died recently. He was one of the forefathers of the fantasy rpg. He had help with his work, but had nothing to base it on really. He started from scratch, others slowly improved to system. I'm trying to create something a little different, but so far I am alone. I have a couple of friends who have asked how I would work a couple of things etc, and I have just came up with on the spot answers. I am grateful for that though. I am concentrating on one thing at a time, but do need to think about how each thing will affect the whole game...
Hopefully in a few months I will have the bare bones down and I can get a few people to playtest it for me. I will do a few tests alone before that though. Will see if somebody else would DM for me, then I can help them with the rules if need be whilst also seeing the game from the eye of a player. All that is in the future though. Right now more research is needed. Plus I need to think more on the magic system. I want the entire game to be simple enough for a ten year old to play, but challenging enough for even the most veteran of gamers...
