What a weekend

I have had my first weekend on campus and it pretty much went just the way most of the rest of them will. Being that it was the first weekend back it was pretty eventful. Saturday, as I posted earlier, was the Dashboard Confessional concert. It was pretty good. I enjoyed listening to the music even though the quality of the sound system was some of the worst I have ever heard. My buddy, Justin, could have done a better job running all the music through nothing but his desktop music program and his surround sound system in his basement. I had a fun time and hung out with some friends I had not seen all summer, so that was a big plus. Man how people do change.

Today also rocked. I went to my first Syracuse football game. It was an experience. They do not call the Carrier Dome "The Loud House" for nothing. That place gets crazy during the game. The seat that Mike, Mike, and I had were not great, but we could see everything just fine. The game was ok, with both teams really sucking it up hardcore on the field. There was about 8 turnovers total with Syracuse losing by 8. The cool part about the whole thing was for the first time ever I got to see "the wave" go around the whole Dome. It was one of the weirdest, most amazing things I have ever seen. Over 30,000 people doing the wave around entire dome 3 times non stop was pretty impressive. I would say that overall it was one hell of a day.

So for the first time in my new apartment, tomorrow, I will be cooking dinner. Since we have the day off I have decided to cook for the Mikes and I. I am going to make chicken parm with pasta and I am even going to make dessert. I have not told them I am going to make pudding pie. It should be one hell of a dinner. Just the other night I made chili and they both really liked it, so hopefully maybe we can make a dinner just once every weekend. I think it would be fun. I will let you know how it turns out. If it is good I might even take my show on the road and cook for my girl down in Jersey. Can't date a girl who can't cook forever. ;-) I will teach you baby and we can learn together. I need to know some of your mom's recipes.

I hope everyone is well and good luck and safe trip to John, who is off to China. Talk to everyone soon. Bye.
