My NEW YORK weekend
so I took a bus to boston and then a bus to New York. (an earlier one then I had thought). Tony picked me up at the port authority and we walked by the river to his apartment. I met his room mates Cameron and Bobbie, who had his friend mike up. they were already doing some "pregame activities" as tony calls them. Friday night we went to go see his teacher play at a jazz club which was awesome. Live jazz has an amazing energy! then we walked back to the apartment (emphasis on walk, we walked almost everywhere this weekend and my legs are so toned) we went out to a bar (shh my parents have been told it was a club hehe) but it was a bar called RYANS. IT was fun! someone even brought their dog in the bar which was so weird. I got to dance with bobbie which was fun. but the bar didn't stay open too much longer so we had to go back home. We stopped at a conner store and I just danced around while everyone was waiting for food. bobbie and mike took a cab and the rest of us took the metro. it was like 4 A.M. so we had to wait like 20 mins for the metro. this guy was trying to pick pockets but tony and the other boys would have never let that happen. We stopped at brick oven for pizza and beef patties which I still haven't tried. It was about 5 when we got back to the apartment so I ate my pizza, took a nap, and then woke up to go to the TODAY show!
It was a long walk but it was totally worth it. I got on TV. ok so you can just see me jumping up and down in the background but it's on tape and I'm keeping it forever! it was so cold so tony and I stopped at a McDonald's to warm up before a long walk back home. We had a nice chat while watching people below.
I took a nap when we got back to the apartment thinking we were going to the park to play football around 3 we never did make it there until 6:30. But I did play football. I was bad at it but i made everyone laugh. It was so cold I thought my hands were going to fall off! I took another nap when we got home until 12:00 and then went out to get food for the kids with the munchies. I went to bed again at 2 and nobody woke up until 12:00 and that was it! I had to pack and shower and then catch my bus back home.
I had so much fun just getting away and tony's a great host. I hope I can get back down there before school gets out.
