If anyone can tell me what the quote is from, you have forever won my heart and I will totally take you to Disneyland for free.... in 3 months. (Hey, believe me, that's a pretty good deal considering I wasn't planning on taking any one but my sister and Josh to Disney for free)
Anyhoo.... DISNEY!!
If it's the happiest place on earth, this week has been the happiest week of ever!
Seriously though, besides the episoide I had on Sunday (First day I realized Mickey Mouse isn't actaully alive. I cried. I really don't want to go into it) working at Disneyland is like eating a big vat of vanilla icecream in a chocolate, rainbow sprinkle covered cone without the brain freeze.
Disneyland has seriously earned about 100 more cool points. Which i never thought would be possible, because it's already my favorite place on earth!
We started out training with everyone from entertainment (woooo!!!!) to foods to night shift bussers and people. Then spilt off into smaller groups based on the area we were working in (aka, Entertainment) then the next day were seperated into characters and other smaller entertainment sections. That was the best day. Class was only about 3 hours long (soo boring too) and afterwards, about nine of us that have been hanging out since day one all went over to Tower of Terror.
I swear, I never thought people who played the fuzzies could be soo completely hyper and crazy. It's weird. They all are talking like crazy and everyone in the line was staring at us while we sang songs and guessed what musical they were from, or quoted movie lines in our more dramatic inpersonations and had everyone else in the group guess what movie it was from. This group in the line behind us was staring and my first reaction was, "Do we still have our name tags on?" But I guess without even being characters yet, we've already begun to entertain the masses in line with our ADD craziness!
And dammit, I really REALLY wish I bought our tower picture... SOO the greatest thing ever.
Brianna--
3
And "big daddy Craig" (Because he's 36, a friend of Goofy's and has 3 kids) Were in the center back with their arms raised.
A.J. ---
was in the corner actually terrified because it was his first time on the ride ever.
While Morgan--
and Jordan had their feet up in the air.
Robbie and I (no picture available... boo hoo, cause it would be cute!) had probably the best pose. We were in the front row and and both of us stared straight at the camera pointing in complete fear. Wide eyes, mouths all the way open in a total scream. It was great because it was soo us. Totally crazy prom picture worthy. Oh my god, I wish I had that picture!
But I have this instead:
awweee!!!! That's me and Brianna. Her real name is Laura. But she is awesome and we've been together since the very first round at auditions. It's been so great to be with someone like that. Actually, Jordan and Morgan had been together since the first moment at auditions as well. So it was cool that the four of us were able to click together real fast ("Whose on Top and whose on Bottom NOW!?")
Also AJ has been amazing. Since the first day of triaining, Brianna and I have been hanging out with him. He seriously is goofy. And I think he has the most amazing features... mostly eyes. Whenever I was bored in class I would sit there and draw his eyes or mouth. Totally a cool guy.
But I absolutly love all of them, and their energy is CRAZY! If I work everyday with at least one of them, this will truely be the happiest job I will ever hold. It's already been the most fun ever to train.
Oh, and to top of all the excitement,
I WAS CHIP!
As in Chip n' Dale!!!!!
It was SOOOOOO much fun! Me and my Dale (Ali) danced around with little kids and signed like a million autographs. Which is probably the weirdest thing because I'm thinking, "Dude, I'm totally not Chip... they're going to look at my signature and realize I'm a fake" But none of them did. They all just smiled with such joy and had their picture taken. Sometimes I would get kisses too!
I love being a character. I definitely want to transfer to be a fuzzy one of these days... oh god, and totally face character. I met this girl today who used to be Alice, but she said she wasn't too good because she never fallowed the rules and did whatever she wanted, not what she was suppose to. But damn, she is Alice. Just talking to her, you can totally tell.
Oh! And I saw Wendy back stage!! It was really awesome, she didn't look much like Wendy, but she was my height, which makes me happy to see because than maybe that means I could be Wendy someday!!
eeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
Disneyland has been sucha trip! I'm soo excited to do it all again tomorrow! I'm soo happy I got to be Chip, and now, I'm obsessed. I'm seriously going to collect everything Chip n' Dale!
On another note: I have two sets of Disney Host costumes in my house and my lock for my locker--- I have a locker at Disneyland!! I rule!
Guess that wasn't really another note, cause it was still all Disney related. Which has taken over my life....
well, and I move into my apartment in 4 DAYS!!! wow....
Once I get my Chip pictures, soo posting them.
Today would've probably been the best day of my life, if I had seen Josh. He was in the park somewhere, I just never got in touch with him. But when I got home I did get a message from him, which I've now replayed about a zillion times. Almost as good as actually seeing him, instead I get to hear his voice say my name a million times...
I can't believe this is all happening to me. My life seems close to flawless. And I'm being paid for it all to! (Over $100 for the last two days alone)
