Microsoft Student Ambassador Interview
It's been like almost forever since i last made a logically coherent post. For that i think i should apologize. Well here's a bit of real news in my life. While i was at Grand Valley, a buddy of mine, Eric Maino, told me about the Microsoft Student Ambassador program. Eric was the student ambassador for Grand Valley, but as of May 9th, Eric will be employed by Microsoft, and no longer the student ambassador for Grand Valley. I'm very excited to say that with much urging by Eric, I submitted a nomination, i have a phone interview for the position on Wednesday (5/4) at 1pm. I'm actually rather excited and optimistic about this opportunity.
For those of you who consider Microsoft to be a lesser than great company, and something of the "Evil Empire," I've actually been extended an invitation to a fully catered, Microsoft only screening of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. I'll also be attending Visual Studio 2005 DevCon in June. More info on those events will come later. :-)
