So Far...
Life is busy here in San Jose. I have been working like a madman, we're talking like 12.5 hours a day. I got one check for two days of work last Friday. My check next Friday should be HUGE. I really like my job and working these insanely long hours doesn't seem to bother me at all. It really keeps me busy which is a welcome change compared to the past six months of boredom and laziness.
I got myself lost this evening on the way home from work. I decided to try a different way home and I missed my freeway on ramp because I couldn't get over in time so I drove about five min out of the way and called my Aunt. She guided me back onto an alternate path and I made it home only slightly pissed off.
This Friday is my last day to get my stuff out of the house in Turlock. I managed to cram what little is left of it into my room and it should not be too hard to get it all out of there in one trip. The trick will be getting rid of my bed. I have a bed here in San Jose already and thus, I have no use for my old mattress and box-spring. Because of this moving ordeal I am taking Friday off to finish moving and get out on time so my replacement can move in.
I have spent my past three weekends driving all over central California. Turlock and back. Sonoma and back and then to Turlock again. I am looking forward to the weekend when I can relax a bit and perhaps install the new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal that I procured for my aunt last weekend. That...will be a great day.
