Turning Japanese

Mar 09, 2010 18:17

I thought about this a while back but never moved on it but now since I'm closer than ever to leaving I figure what the heck...might as well.
I wanted to get a Hanko stamp made for myself but the problem always was that since my name isn't Japanese...it's kind of hard to make a kanji stamp of it. So today I decided to kanji-ize my name and while I'm sure I butchered my name in the process I actually like the way that it sounds when I say it. The name I made is "Meguitakara" (惠鋳財)..or Megutakarai 惠財鋳. Either way I like it...my take on the name is "Mint wealth through kindness/blessings".
Thoughts???
