'tis the season to be jolly
its dec 25, 2007. the time is 2:55pm.
this time last year, i was packing or rather, my grandmother was packing my bags and doing last minute preparations because i was gonna leave for the U.S. in 6 hours. Obviously, I didn't want to go. Heck, I didn't even pack my own bags!
and now, a year has passed, I'm still here but i'm loving it. I told myself that I'd be back in 6 months. I'm just gonna finish one semester and fly back home right away. but that didn't happen. I also thought that I'd be home for christmas. that didn't happen either. if you ask me though if im happy, no doubt my answer would be "YESSSS! HECK, YEAH!" although i miss my family and friends A LOT (font size 100), I'm glad to be here and I thank God for that. Thanks to Him, i dont regret being so far away. In fact, it's been such an experience!
last christmas, I had to say goodbye. that sucks right? but God knew what He was doing. He was with me all the time even when i doubted it.
this christmas, I'm a million miles away from my family and friends. that sucks right? but God still knows what He's doing and im not doubting that!
i guess what I'm trying to say is, Thank You, Jesus. and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
