finally...i get a break

well, im at the hospital ryte now...working my lovely 12 hour shift. my group is taking our instructor out to dinner afterwards to the penalty box. i've only been there once before with michael...but its got sum pretty good food...im excited :). i got to do a lot of things today: do an IV, IV piggyback and saline lock, baby bath, maternal and newborn assessments...well, i pretty much took on full care for all of my patients and i loved it. yesterday, one colleague of mine did an IV on me...we decided it would be a good learning experience. she bruised me cuz her angle was too steep...but dont worry, i'll get her back. i've seen so many vag births and c-sections, i feel like i can do them myself! i feel so great on this floor! i love it! well, i mainly love the babies...i dont love the 12 hours tho...but this is DEFINITELY what am i gonna be doin full time in 2 years...that is my life goal...

i have nuthin to do till 4:30...so im gonna do a baby bath...they're so cute!
