(unexpected) surprises aplenty this past week.
ytd i told my parents bout our 9months+ relationship &they were rather receptive
said they werent dumb but jus din wan to mention anythin :/
they knew sth was goin on since i kept hidin in my room to chat on de phone every night
anw, i'd thought they wud object since im having my a's this year but their reactions were lik totally opposite frm wad i expected
a very nice surprise indeed.
but now tat i finally told them, its a huge load off my chest though i feel kinda weird
this change's kinda sudden, lik i dun hafta hide our relationship anymore
lik WHEEEEEE!
but yeah, we're both serious bout our relationship so this is really great news :)
AND...
prelims results werent de best but im really happy bout my econs & lit results
gettin to be de top 3% of de cohort was a total surprise since i din place much focus on econs this time.
although i may noe my stuff &all, but de fact dat i neglected econs over my other h2s makes me feel lik i din really deserve it :/
but lit, this is de 1st time ive actually studied for lit (i hope my teachers dun see this).. so i guess its relatively more deserving for me..
yup i wun get complacent wif these (perhaps lucky) results, am jus relieved to be assured tat i could be capable of such grades so will definitely be motivated to work harder :)
yup. and de results im not so happy bout are my gp n maths.
gp was totally below expectation, screwed paper 1 this time, so much for zenith queen :(
hahah but ive gotten over it alr, will be more careful in my choice of question nxt time.
as for maths, i guess i deserve it since ive never really liked maths so din really practise much at all
sighs. but fret not, i will be drilling maths faithfully after learnin my lesson~
am neutral bout chem - not too good not too bad. but really hopes to be able to get a decent grade for A's
OKAE so this is one rather boring introspective-type entry.
to spice things up a little, here's wad happened to me on de bus todae:
boarded bus. lady sat beside me. reached my stop. i stood up to get down. felt sth explode under my soles. out came a loud 'POP' sound. stunned silence. everyone turned to look. i looked down. chilli sauce all over my shoes... (!!!)
was superdupersuperduperdupersuper pissed when i got down de bus
wonder whos de inconsiderate fucker idiot who cudnt eat their macdonalds properly and jus HADTA drop one packet of sauce on de floor
so now my shoes are soiled, and wif de smell of chilli sauce.........
no choice but to scrub &wash them now (or maybe de incident is predestined since de washing is kinda long overdued)
sighs, can only blame myself for rotten luck todae!
am off to wash my shoes :(
STUDY HARD PPL! DUN STRESS, EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT FINE &THINGS WILL WORK THEMSELVES OUT! :)
