Marriage Equality USA, Equality California and the Sacramento Stonewall Democrats are co-sponsoring a rally in Sacramento on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 to urge Governor Schwarzenegger to sign AB 43, the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection Act, Assemblymember Mark Leno’s marriage equality legislation for California families.

WHAT: “Don’t Do a Veto Sequel - Be a Hero and Do the Right Thing” rally urging Governor Schwarzenegger to sign AB 43
WHEN: Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 5:30-7:00 PM
WHERE: West side of the California State Capitol, 11th and L Streets
Bring: Your enthusiasm, your family and appropriate signs!
Parking: Public garage on 10th ST just off of L ST, street parking free of charge after 6:00 PM
In the meantime, be sure to call the Governor's office today at 916-445-2841 or FAX a note to 916-445-4633 urging him to sign AB 43. Also, please sign Equality California’s on-line petition at www.eqca.org.
Seriously, call the Governor's office. You don't have to talk to anybody, you just have to go through this SIMPLE menu, and press 4-5 keys to express your support for A.B. 43! It takes a minute and makes a big difference.
