Well not much to report this entry. Except it has been snowing. The pugs have loved playing in it. Watching that just maeks me smile.
Oh and my brilliant Nephew in England has been interviewing for a position in a very posh private school... so if you would be so kind as send good vibes his way... that and maybe money... j/k. He is amazingly smart and deserves to be at this school. So help me wish it works out for him and the family. (thanks in advance)
I wish I had been that intelligent when I was a child... I am not saying I was a dunce but when your family falls apart school takes a backseat, as well as anything the world will later view as important, to the important-at-the-time-things like surviving. Crazy how a few decisions other people made can effect soo many people's lives. This world is like living in a pond and decisions are like drops of water that break the surface... one drop can effect the whole pond in one way or another. So many people take that for granted. They live with the idea that what they do only effects them. Yes, we are only responsible for our actions but we are still capable of being insightful. i.e. If I do X will it effect Y and Z? How hard is it to think ahead? When will people stop being so selfish? Who am I actually asking this to? If we all had the attitude (which I lack, at times, as well) of thinking before we act about what others reactions could be there would be a lot less to "fix" in the world. Maybe I am being a bit idealistic but that is how I plan to model myself this coming year. Oh did I mention my B-day is coming up and this is why I am super reflective... I like to look back at what life was for the past year and if there is anything I can improve. Most people do this on New Years but it gives me an excuse to be pseudo-deep more than just once a year. hehe
Ok enough of that crap... If you suffered through that sorry... :-)
