At times like this...

when everyone is concerned about what cool and cutting edge product Santa is bringing them, I am less concerned about the tangible than about things that matter. If Santa was really able to bring anything I wanted I think my request would be for my family and (past and present) friends' happiness. I would also hope that I am as good of a family member/friend to them as they are to me and forgiveness if I wasn't. I am also thankful for the things they taught me. I hope that I was able to teach them. I am thankful for my family and my friends and I hope they know it. So while many people are opening their new gadgets and gizmos I only hope that God continues to bless the people close to me and those who are no longer.
I promise I will go back to being a chronic wise ass after this post... it was something I just had to say.
