i dont even know who reads this or who even cares. but i think this may be the very last entry i ever leave. i just want to say thanks to all of those friends who even consider themselves a friend and yet never call, never want to hang out, never even care. thanks to my family for always never bein there for me. thank you life for keepin me down

Tim, I stumbled across your journal here through your Gay.com profile (which has you as THE featured profile). Dude, I hope you're only hitting a funk in life. You didn't have any specifics, but just know, life tends to go in cycles. I'm sure you already know this, but I find that I have to remind myself of this whenever I get too low on myself.

From what I can tell, there are many people on this board and your Gay.com profile who would likely be VERY happy to correspond with you. And not just because of your good looks, but because of the passion and sense of self you've expressed here in your writings. Hell, I've only skimmed through a bit of it, and I already feel for ya...

College was difficult for me too. I had to start over with making friends, developed a huge crush on one of my roomies, wasn't out to anyone yet (see, you're one step ahead of me there at the time), felt absolutely lost in my life and was growing increasingly despondent. College ended up being one of the worst times of my life. (I don't think this is really helping, huh?) But you know what, looking back on it, I appreciate everything I went through and many of the people I met. But life definitely goes on, kiddo, and gets better (and worse...and better again...).

One of the most intriguing things in life is that you never know what waking up the next morning will bring you. I never would have imagined four years ago in Virginia that I would be living in Los Angeles today. And it all occurred literally in the course of 48 hours! I was laid off in VA during the dot-com implosion on April 20th of 2002. Two days later, I had a job waiting for me in L.A. You just never know, day to day, week to week... That's the beauty of life.

Look, feel free to hit me up. I'm available by email and phone (I'll give you my phone through email, but probably not wise here for everyone to see, y'know?) Sounds like we can talk each other's ears off between stories of our families, "friends", school, jobs, etc...

Feel better though about yourself. You're a good-looking, intelligent, passionate guy with tons to offer people...that's very apparent to me. Probably easier for others to see outside of yourself...
