In other news...
1) My dad had a birthday. I made a cake.

2) My cousin's daughter's due date has come and gone. Current plan is they're going to the hospital on Thursday and they ain't comin' out without a baby.
3) I have two new food-related injuries, a burn on my wrist and a cut on my thumb. (You know, that might make for a pretty cool band name.)
Pictures forthcoming. Maybe. If I'm brave enough to take off the band-aid.
4) I have a guilty confession about Japan: since learning of the disaster triple punch (earthquake - tsunami - nuclear reactor meltdown), all I can think of are Godzilla movies. And I wonder what sort of cinema will result from this recent catastrophe.
