i'm a sucker for an ad with a typo
Two cute typos seen on recent Freecycle ads:
- profane tank
- bathroom morrow (this was later amended to read "bathroom mirrow")
Bonus: a cute typo seen in a recent posting to the uni's capoeira mailing list (as G-d is my witness, I will make it to one of their rodas one of these days... hopefully):
- for all intensive purposes
I shared this on the grammarpolice community and...
"So presumably any part of a hospital where they heal you on purpose is the Intents and Care Unit? :-)"
I'm wondering how I can get to use that in conversation someday without having to actually visit a hospital.
