Was directed to this article in the wake of learning that yet another fellow had climbed in to the cage of Panda Bear Gu Gu, in China, and gotten his leg chomped as a result. The man was reportedly trying to retrieve his child’s toy. I think that’s a bit more daft than the guy who climbed into the enclosure a few months ago because he wanted to give Gu Gu a hug. Gu Gu bit him. And, as if he had a right to be offended, the man bit Gu Gu back. After that, I imagine Gu Gu is pissed and all ‘no more Mr. Nice Panda.’ I pity the fool who next attempts to open up this particular line of interspecies communication.
