Today, my Blackberry demanded an updating. I've done it and I can see what's different, but I'm not entirely sure on what's better. I've lost the screen lock programme, for one. It used to be that one of my 6 icons on the home screen allowed me to just lock the keypad. Now, I've got to use the keys instead. It also took a long time for me to work out how it works, and that mainly involved asking other people for help. And, since I did a
first post on blackberry wallpapers, I thought that it would be worth doing a second.

American Armaments
I've got this on my wall in the sitting room, but it doesn't work quite as well as a blackberry wallpaper. Much of the detail is in the top part of the picture, which gets cut off by the time, date and signal strength. Also, I'm not sure how well the reddy hues work as a phone backdrop. This is another

Assassin Strike
From Assassin's Creed, namely from the excellent
opening cinematic. Very cool, and the blues do work quite well. The Crusader is more of a focus than the Assassin with the way that it's framed, but I didn't want to reframe it, or lose the Frenchman's legs.
Goldfinger
More Phil Noto, but this is from the best Bond Film - Goldfinger. The sixties retro design works really well on stuff that is actually sixties authentic.
Firenze
Il Duomo. I'm going there in October. Ace.
New Rules for a New Life
From Fantastic Four 578 comes the Anti Priest of the Negative Zone. Just remember: HERE YOU DIE. IN THE NEGATIVE ZONE, YOU CAN LIVE!
S.H.I.E.L.D.
The logo for Jonathan Hickman's S.H.I.E.L.D. yes, it incorporates a diagram of our solar system. How cool is that?
Also, yesterday I booked flights and today I sorted out accommodation for my trip to Firenze. It feels slightly perverse to be booking your next holidays before the current one has run out.
Should be exciting.
And, thoughts on
Episode 2 of Mad Men 4
How long until Lee Garner Jr pulls his business from SCDP?
Pete Campbell needs Trudy to dress him.
Freddie is back. And not only did he not piss himself, but he's actually quite a sympathetic character, even if he is very old fashioned.
Last season we saw Don being really, really unlikable, as he fired Sal. This season... Urgh. Poor Allison.
And, because I'll no doubt be referring to them again and again, here's the
