It's been a good while since I've made any sort of post that said anything worthwhile.

Further to my entry from earlier today, I found a torrent and am caught up on Civil War and 52. 52 was especially ace, while Civil War had its fair share of "are you fucking retarded?" moments. Still, it was nice to see something utterly, utterly stupid being done by the Anti-Reg side. it made me feel less like I was supporting a team of puppy eaters. Because who on earth thinks that having a knockdown metafight in Manhattan is a fucking good idea?

I saved £25something today. I found somebody on match that I was interested, winked at her and waited for a bit. This evening I was going to send her an email to say "hi" in a bit more detail. To do that, I would need to sign up. She rejected me before I did, which is a bugger, but considering that she was the only reason I would have wanted to sign up, I'm glad I found out before I shelled out cash for it.
Music
Check out
Nathan Asher and the Infantry. Seriously. Do it. They provide the lyrics that make up today's subject header, from the song Sex without Love.
In the past fortnight I've received a bunch of albums, including one from Antarctica Takes It! (with a little handwritten note saying "Thanks Alisdair, hopefully this package finds you. Thanks for the support sir. Enjoy! - Dylan" Antarctica Takes It! deserve a giant pimping. Buy their album from their
myspace page. Americans need to send a mere $6 while us Europeans need only give them a $10 bill. I recommend that you do it. tell them that you heard about them here.
I also bought the Hello Saferide album. It's got a beautiful booklet inside with lots of lyrics. If you can stand the two month delivery time, there's a swedish shop on Amazon Marketplace that will sell it to you for about £7. Otherwise, Amazon would be your best bet to support the Stubblecast
Artist of 2006. I took some of this entry out and added it to a FLocked entry later on.
Incidentally, do any of my FList actually read this journal?
