Is it legal to postpone a birthday? To just wake up and say "no, i don't feel like turning 18 today. maybe next week." and send out little notes to every fucking person who is supposed to care about you that say something like:
To whom it may concern: Due to the enormous amounts of drama that have ruined the week, Christina has decided to postpone her birthday until you can all fucking get along, suck it up, and put your petty selfishness behind you for 3 fucking hours and actually attend a party that is supposed to be about Christina and the fact that she's turning 18, instead of explaining why you can't possibly be there because such-and-such will be there too. Thank you, The Management.
If I ever do have a party, I may just pull out pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey and little toy whistles, since that about how mature everyone is managing to be. Grf.
