I don't blame YOU for doing them, they are excellent timewasters, but why do I have to wade through a foot long entry just because you are my bored friend? Not very

It's easy to understand. I also feel the same way about the Myspace bulletins. If I have new pictures, I'll announce it, but I don't BEG for comments 3 times a day.
