!!!EXTEND YOUR WEEKEND!!!
As well as doing a series of all day gigs called "Extend Your Weekend" some overly kind local souls are trying to combine local gigs with SEEC. The plan is to bringing bands from the "Extend Your Weekend" gigs into the college studios for students to record one or 2 tracks with. For many bands recording like this is too expensive so you'll be even happier to hear that this recording time will be completely free. And at the end of it the tracks are going to be used to make a compilation cd available to buy with 1 track by all the bands that played the all-dayer featured.
The first "Extend Your Weekend" all dayer will be on August 1st at Chinnerys with the following bands confirmed to appear:
Painsbrook (brother of joe morgan from inme)
Save ernie
Face in the Crowd
Disarmed
(Sol-iss)
White Leech
Cisco in the Aquarium
£5 entrance with doors opening at 1/1.30, first band on at 2.
We here at EOTR think this is a brilliant idea and will be giving our full support, along with our DJ skills, to the event. See you all there!
