Sigh... it seems I managed to kill my cable connection this morning
"timeshifting" some TV I missed over the weekend. So today I'll repost
on the actual LJ account.
Anyway we shipped version 1.0 of our SPARC/Solaris to Linux/X86_64 software last night. We celebrated with a few jars of ale in the local hostelry which resulted in a slightly slower start to this morning as would be usual. Still I made it in before 12 which isn't too bad ;-)
I suspect we will be watching how many downloads the great unwashed make over the next few days. In fact you can try the free 1 month evaluation right now. Of course the number of my friends that I know who want to migrate their software from SPARC is pretty low. In fact I can only think of one at the mo!
