I had originally planned to quote a bit of the song that Colt listens to on the traveler turntable. It's a 45 single, home pressing of a blues guitarist known as Doc "Eminator" Brown. Eminator Brown doesn't exist in the game or in real life, but he was supposed to be a former soldier who had managed to survive the Hamidon Wars through luck and cowardice. On the other hand, he was a pretty damned good guitarist and later became sorta famous for his blues songs. I'm pretty terrible at poetry and oh jesus even worse at lyrics. But I felt like I wanted to take a hand at it for Colt's scene. So, this is what I came up with. Very incomplete, but I only planned on using one verse for the scene. The others sorta tumbled and stuck together.

mustered up at the palisades
you know they marching through here
sure as the sun rises in the sky
but when they charging through here
I got a mind not to die
boy this line's gonna break
better believe line's gonna break
they only gonna catch the slow ones
all the ones left behind
Might say I aint the fastest one
and lord knows that's the true
but I ain't gotta be the fastest, hon
only got to be faster than you
yeah this line's gonna break
watch the line's gonna break
when this old line go'an' break
I'm gone and be the first to run
As it turned out, I didn't think it needed it and the scene flowed better without it.
