I pulled this from
the-resa. I don't know anything about this, but it seems that it could use another (pitifully small boost). I don't consider myself has having an invisible chronic illness (although I probably do, but whatever), but there might be people out there who need some signal boosting of their own and wtf, this is within my slacktivist abilities.
It could be rightly pointed out that a great portion of my income comes from talking with people who have invisible illnesses and then, almost without reservation, completely fucking them over.
My only concern is that the post could easily float over into comedy and derision, which would be bad. Anyway, here it is:

EDIT: I am sort of uncomfortable with this post for reasons I'm not entirely clear on. A lot of it has to do with my daily experience at work. Some of it is wondering about authenticity and ministry. Still, at the end of the end, people who are suffering need compassion. And being as I cannot offer compassion in my job (no, seriously, I can't - stop asking), I can at least pass this on in the hope that others can use it as a tool of compassion.
