the new is a different level of pain, consciousness, fear - and pride.
this new explodes the mind with the reality of war where i grew up, lived, loved, laughed, cried, danced and buried my immediate family.

with this new - it's peace. it's not having air strikes, or invading troops on the ground. i never thought it would appreciate THAT in my lifetime. and even that i appreciate from safety of hundreds of thousands of miles.

the new showed how my nation becomes more solid through a fight. ironically in a fight against aggressor who claims that our country and nation should not exist.
