Hidden Service in Vanilla Company
A couple of things have made me decide to make my journal an active one, instead of remaining a lurker. One thing is a recent posting by inked_freak that mentioned selfless service. The other is that my girl, white_lilacs, and I are getting a bit more involved locally.
Hidden Service:
I think most D/s couples engage in this to some extent. In our case it comes up most often in two situations.
#1 When we are together we have a ritual/rule that Lilacs has to wait for permission from me before she starts eating a meal. This can be as simple as a nod of my head or something more overt. I have maintained that even when we have gone out to dinner with my relatives. Sometimes I'll make her wait just a little bit, to reminder her who's in charge.
#2 She is to make sure I am never needing a refill of my drink. The exception being if we are at a restaurant, then it isn't her task. Every two weeks or so we get together with some friends and up to now this has been at my home. Just before our company arrives, Lilacs will replace my usual cup with a clear glass, so she can keep a discrete eye my drink. I sometimes enjoy waiting to see how she is going to "just happen to head to the kitchen" when my glass gets low.
Other examples are asking the gang if they would happen to like some [insert snack/treat] and then just sit back knowing full well that I'm not going to be the one who goes to get it! Of course, there are shared winks and mild innuendo which only we know the real meaning to. Personally I LOVE it!
